1 night stay, enjoyed Loved my stay. Stayed here for 1 night. Nice cheap price. Paid $35 for 1 night of parking which is alright for central auckland. Checked in and got told we were getting a free upgrade which was awesome. On floor 14 with amazing views of the sky tower. One night stay The hotel is located in a good central location, it’s within a five minute walk of Sky city (convenient for Skydrive bus), there are a lot of restaurants nearby and there is a supermarket next door. I got an upgrade on this visit and the room was very comfortable and spacious. Check in was very efficient. Good location, great place Loved the location, vibe and price. The room was well appointed and styled and apart from the shower, had been updated. Staff were very helpful. Only complaint was the noise from other guests yelling and slamming doors. Two males had a very animated, loud, aggressive argument in the early hours of the morning. Excellent emplacement sur Auckland Hotel très bien placé en centre ville à proximité du skytower, magasin et restaurant. Tout peut se faire à pieds, il y'a aussi les bus et shuttle si vous voulez visiter la ville. Hotel in decent location, but several flaws. My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in February before a cruise that we took. First of all I must say this hotel is in a great location. It is right in the centre of the CBD and one block from the Sky Tower, Queen Street( the main shopping street), and next to a Supermarket. The hotel is clean and the staff were friendly. However, there were several things we found to be lacking with this hotel. The bed was extremely soft, and uncomfortable for us. We booked a deluxe room, however the room looked like it needed a good refurbishment. It had a kitchen in the room which was nice to store water in a full size Fridge. The blinds in the bedroom looked like they've ben there since the 1960's- old and didn't keep out light at all. The couch in the living room was awful. It is located in front of ther television, and it was hard to sit on since it collapsed towards the centre. Breakfast was good, but never varied. Always the same thing served without any variation. This is good for one or two nights, but by the fourth day it was very boring. There are 3 lifts in this hotel. One lift is so slow it takes a long time to go up to the 9th floor where we stayed. Another lift travelled at lightning speed and descended in a matter of seconds!! Airport Hotel We arrived from Cook Islands and wanted an airport hotel for one night so it would be easier to fly to Queenstown next day. Our plan was to visit the South Island. Getting to the shuttle took a bit of a walk and the directions were to get to the shuttle area and stay at #6 for pick up. This was on the Hotels.com reservation. There is no # areas but we talked to people and found the location. That should be cleared up. The hotel was fine, had a dining room where we had dinner and paid for breakfast in the morning. Hôtel très moyen mais bien placé Heureusement que le personnel est sympa et le petit déjeuner varié! Cela sauve les différents dysfonctionnements rencontrées : départ tardif non pris en compte sur la clé électronique, draps tachés, pas de ménages les 3 premiers jours, clé électronique défaillante, moquette des chambres vétuste. Good Downtown Auckland Hotel I stayed at this hotel the night prior to joining a Cruise Ship. It was an enjoyable experience, easy to get to using the Skydrive Transport from Auckland Airport and just a very short walk downhill in the morning to join the ship. The room was no frills but comfortable especially the bed and pillows. The shower was good and everything was clean, note, there were no face cloths or tissues. The buffet breakfast was adequate and the staff all friendly and obliging. There is a good supermarket almost right next door. The only down side was there was no double glazing and my room overlooked busy streets. The noise from a nearby bar and traffic was exceptionally loud during the night until the small hours disturbing my rest.
